Martha's Vineyard

Hey, we're back...if anyones still checking.
Yes, I know we have been gone for so long.
It was a very busy term...I really can't express
it in words, but we survived. We actually thrived. As a family we have never been closer. God has been so Faithful to bless our commitments to Him and our desire to keep the important things first. Needless to say, a 2 week break was much needed. Our first stop was in PA at Kim's folks to drop off Lily and to attend Natalie's 2nd Bday party (our niece). It was a great time, but we were excited to move on to the next leg of the trip. Up to Boston to see the Corbells and drop off the other 2 children with them. One night of great fellowship and we were off to the Cape and on to the Vineyard. The
travel was easy and the trip was not burdensome.
Once on the island, we felt an immediate sense of being
transported back in time to our honeymoon. So little has changed. That is the great thing about going back to places that meant something to you in the past. It helps you mark the passing of time and brings back so many memories. We reminisced about days gone by and how Faithful the Lord has been to us. We have had so many adventures and felt such a unity through it all. Basically, we were overwhelmed by our blessings. We got some good pictures of a sunrise from our room...french doors opening out on to the beach and the sunrise. The other pictures are of the Oak House B&B and the Ocean View Park (a Martha's Vineyard landmark). Overall it was great. Too short, but great.
