Happy Valentine's Day
Here are few pictures of our Valentine's Day fun.
We are iced in due to the winter storm. School's were canceled, but not our home school. Matt had a two hour delay along with the rest of the Federal employees.Maddie had a great time making our cookies. Normally, Grandma K would be facilitating the baking fun but today it was just us. We shared our treats with our favorite couple in the neighborhood.
Now for less fun news. We have been invaded by mice. Ugh. I am not a pioneer woman that is for certain. Though I never had a doubt that I was a wimp, I have certainly entertained the idea of a simpler life like that of the Ingall's. I have also been imagining a future in the mission field. I think my adverse reaction to the presence of rodents, no matter how cute some say they are, is evidence to the contrary. I can't stand it.

Wow! So much more sophisticated than our cookies. Your Maddie looks SO GROWN UP! That can't be Lily in the picture, is it? I can't wait to see you again! Not long now!
Wow, Maddie is so old, not to mention your BABY! Even though we saw you not too long ago, those kiddos look so much older already!
I love the Valentine's cookies. I've made them every year that we've been married, but alas this year V-day was used for other purposes. :) I'll just have to make some Easter ones instead.
Your cookies are works of art! I bet it was fun eating themn all up! We weren't very creative this year. But I'll try again next year! I echo the sentiments that I can't believe how much older both those girls look! Any other "family" news???? ;)
